Swine flu will test the world on the issue of fairness

WHO Director General in South East Asia

This week, Margaret Chan, the Director General of the World Health Organization warns that the global swine flu pandemic is likely to expose the failure of the international community to invest in the health infrastructure of resource poor countries. She was addressing an audience of South East Asian health ministers meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal, during the 62nd session of the WHO Regional Committee for South East Asia.
