Special Teens At Risk - Together Reaching Access, Care, and Knowledge (STAR TRACK) is a program providing comprehensive, individualized, age and culturally appropriate, primary HIV, and psychosocial supportive care to HIV infected and at-risk youth aged 12-24 in the Baltimore EMA. The program was established in 1989 as the first in the state of Maryland to provide comprehensive care for HIV+ adolescents and was the first Diagnostic and Evaluation unit exclusively for youth. Through intensive community outreach projects, the program serves as a vital point of entry to care for many newly HIV-infected youth who acquire the infection sexually.
